Chateau de Saint Cosme
Wine has been produced on the site of Saint Cosme since Roman times, evident by the ancient Gallo-Roman vats carved into the limestone below the chateau. Louis Barruol took over from his father in 1992, making a dramatic shift to quality, adding a négociant arm to the business in 1997, and converting to biodynamics in 2010. 100% syrah.

The 2018 Cotes du Rhone is 100% Syrah, sourced from the Gard (on the right bank of the Rhône) and Vinsobres (left bank, higher elevation). Violets, black olives and cassis and blueberry flavors provide terrific varietal expression in a medium to full-bodied package framed by silky tannins.

Pasqua Passimento Rosso Romeo & Juliet
The Romeo&Juliet project is by the Pasqua Family; red like love and passion. A blend of Corvina and Croatina grapes with a percentage of Merlot, which the drying period renders velvetier still.
Beautiful deep ruby red in colour, an intense and lingering nose, with striking notes of red fruits and spicy overtones. Balanced, rounded, plush and caressing on the palate, with velvety tannins.
