Granbazan ‘Etiqueta Verde’ Albarino
Etiqueta Verde is made with a combination of free-run juice and lightly pressed juice. It is fermented with indigenous yeasts in tank and aged on the lees for no less than four months before bottling. This is a classic Salnés Valley style albariño. The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon grow in outstanding vineyards planted throughout Monterey County. After harvesting the fruit, we barrel-ferment it in French oak to enhance the wine’s mouthfeel and contribute a subtle, spicy aroma. We then age this Cabernet in French oak (60% new).
Inviting red cherry and currant jam aromas complement notes of vanilla and caramel. Chewy tannins frame bright cherry and berry flavors that carry through the long, smooth finish.
